Ingredients: 

  • 280g macaroni
  • 20g salted butter
  • 400ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 30g plain flour
  • 600g chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp chargrilled chicken seasoning
  • 70g reduced-fat cheddar
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp of onion salt
  • salt & pepper
  • sprinkle of parmesan to serve

Method: 

  • Coat the chicken with the chargrilled seasoning and pop it in the air fryer for 17 minutes at 200°.
  • Get the macaroni into some lightly salted boiling water to cook.
  • To make the sauce, add the butter to a pan and pop in the flour, then gradually pour in the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  • Add the salt and pepper, the onion salt and the parsley and mix well.
  • Scatter in the cheese and stir well.
  • Add the cooked macaroni to this sauce mixture and then the cooked chicken.
  • Sprinkle some parmesan on top to finish.
