Ingredients:
- 280g macaroni
- 20g salted butter
- 400ml semi-skimmed milk
- 30g plain flour
- 600g chicken breast
- 2 tbsp chargrilled chicken seasoning
- 70g reduced-fat cheddar
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp of onion salt
- salt & pepper
- sprinkle of parmesan to serve
Method:
- Coat the chicken with the chargrilled seasoning and pop it in the air fryer for 17 minutes at 200°.
- Get the macaroni into some lightly salted boiling water to cook.
- To make the sauce, add the butter to a pan and pop in the flour, then gradually pour in the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Add the salt and pepper, the onion salt and the parsley and mix well.
- Scatter in the cheese and stir well.
- Add the cooked macaroni to this sauce mixture and then the cooked chicken.
- Sprinkle some parmesan on top to finish.
